Youth Leader
Ir. Chin Shu Ying
Chin, born in Kudat, joined the Party in 1991, two years after its formation. He is the Party Youth Leader since 2006. He is also the Chairman for Likas Division.
Chin graduated from University Technology of Malaysia in 1989 and is now a Professional Civil Engineer. He is now practicing as a C&S Consultant.
Chin is a man willingly assumes leadership role since his school days in which he is actively involved and hold various posts in school and university bodies. Chin continues to show his leadership since joining LDP by holding various posts in the Party. He is the Party Organising Secretary from 2005-2006. He also hold the post of Youth Secretary from 2002-2005 and Deputy Youth Leader from 2005-2006.
In the Party election in 2006, Chin was elected as the Youth Leader. He is known to be a vocal speaker on various issues face by the community. Under his leadership, the LDP Youth Movement is one of the most active Youth Movement in Barisan Nasional.
Chin is also actively involved in NGO. He is presently the President for the Sabah Chen Clan Association and actively involved in the Parent Teacher Association of SJK(C) Chung Hwa Likas.
